The preparation of the chicken biryani at Shahid Ali is a carefully honed process, passed down through generations. Best food and best service in Agra! We tried to find authentic food in this touristic place, and we thought it was impossible until we found this place. We were welcomed so good here and the chef answer all our questions. I’m vegetarian so eating in a chicken place was a bit soso but he accommodated me by giving me biryani and some gravy, both being the best. According to my bf, the rice was better than in Hyderabad where it’s supposed to come from. You can come and be sure the food is fresh since many locals also come here and take away or eat on the spot. Highly recommend the bread too, it was the best one I had in India! Also, washroom is available outside for your hands, they have water bottle or jug. We came back the next day!

I enjoyed the biryani for lunch at this spot. While it was a tad oily, the deliciousness won me over. As a South Indian, the unique taste stood out, and I genuinely enjoyed it. The portion size was quite generous, and the staff's friendliness added to my positive experience. Highly recommended for all biryani lovers!

Amazing food. A good option for tourists if they want to step out of the western places on the street to a more local and reasonably priced spot.
